From January 1, 2022, seven measures of state support for business entities in the tourism sector have been introduced:<\/strong><\/p>\n

    \n
  1. Subsidisation of tour operators’ costs for inbound tourism.<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    Tour operators receive subsidies for each foreign tourist provided that valid documents are provided, confirmation of the tourist’s stay in accommodation for at least four days and three nights, and registration of the tourist through the \u2018e-Qonaq\u2019 information system. The amount of the subsidy is 15,000 tenge for each foreign tourist.<\/p>\n

    1. Subsidising the cost of air tickets for underage passengers (Kids Go Free).<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

      The subsidy is paid for the cost of a ticket for a minor passenger included in a tourist product purchased from a tour operator operating in the sphere of domestic tourism. It covers 100 per cent of the cost of the ticket of a minor passenger in Kazakhstan.<\/p>\n

      1. Reimbursement of part of the cost of purchasing equipment and machinery for ski resorts.<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

        Reimbursement of 25% of the cost of purchased equipment and machinery, including ropeways, artificial snowmaking systems and snow compaction equipment.<\/p>\n

        1. Reimbursement of costs of construction of roadside service facilities.<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

          Reimbursement of 10% of the cost of construction of such facilities as motels, hotels, campsites, petrol stations, catering outlets and others.<\/p>\n

          1. Subsidies for the maintenance of sanitation and hygiene units (SHU).<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

            Requirements include separate cubicles for persons with disabilities, men and women, equipped with toilets, sinks, ventilation, heat supply and personal hygiene facilities.
            \nThe amount of subsidy is 83,300 tenge monthly to maintain their sanitary condition.<\/p>\n

            1. Reimbursement of part of the costs of construction and reconstruction of tourist activity objects.<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

              Reimbursement of 10% of the cost of construction and reconstruction of natural sites, attractions, historical and socio-cultural objects.<\/p>\n

              1. Reimbursement of part of the cost of purchasing motor vehicles for tourism activities.<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

                Reimbursement of 25% of the cost of motor vehicles with a seating capacity of more than eight seats, excluding the driver’s seat.
                \nThese measures are aimed at stimulating the development of tourism in Kazakhstan, improving infrastructure and making the country more attractive to foreign and local tourists.<\/p>\n
